RETREAT TO ICELAND: THE RETREAT AT BLUE LAGOON
Iceland has just debuted its new luxurious hotel. The Retreat at Blue Lagoon Iceland. The famous Blue Lagoon is located about a 60-minute drive from downtown Reykjavik or about a 15-minute drive from the Keflavik airport. The new luxurious resort is a brilliant idea for those looking for some relaxation time.
The hotel is built right into the 800-year-old lava rock with surrounding lagoon for a truly authentic spa experience. Families are welcome to the hotel, however, there are some restrictions on what type of room is allowed due to safety hazards for young children. The geothermal mineral riched waters and hot springs bring tons of visitors every year. Now there is a place for visitors to come and enjoy the beautiful space a little bit longer. There is a choice between the Moss Junior Suite, which comes with a horizon view, perfect for those beautiful sunrises and sunsets, the Lagoon View Junior Suite with views of the surrounding lagoon, Lava View Junior Suite with an amazing view of the lava rocks that the hotel is built inside of, the Moss Suite with a great living area to enjoy the views, and finally the Lagoon Suite with direct access to the gorgeous lagoon from your room. Other than the supreme spa at the Blue Lagoon, there is an amazing culinary experience with farm to table and truly exquisite food options.
